Last week saw FUSION Electronics and a whole host of green aliens hitting Melbourne, winter-style, at the 2012 Melbourne Boat Show.
Now in its 52nd continuous year, the Melbourne Boat Show is renowned for providing the public with the latest innovations in boats and accessories, and this year was no different. The 2012 show boasted an array of new products and FUSION’s 700 Series was amidst the best.
Hundreds of fans dropped by the FUSION stand over the five days and there were plenty of experts on hand to provide the gear’s specs. The display speakers were blasted and visitors to the stand were especially impressed with the iPod functionality of FUSION’s new range. For many, the decision was easy and there is no doubt that we’ll be seeing more Melbournites boats kitted out with FUSION for the coming season.
Running from Thursday 5 – Monday 9 July at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the show’s premier attraction this year (aside from the FUSION stand, that is) was the custom-built ‘Manspace’ bar area. Sponsored by Network Ten and Grand Ridge Brewery, the bar was host to exhibitors, VIPs and boating enthusiasts, as well as a few celebrities, including world champion powerboat racer, Grant Harrison.
The Winter Boat Show was a fantastic day out for all the family. With fishing games to wakeboards and jetski’s, there was no shortage of action and plenty of prizes taken home. It’s true what the say, life is better with a boat.
