The 25th Anniversary of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat show, held annually on the beautiful Gold Coast, south of Brisbane, was a stellar success by all accounts.
Guests at the event were treated to four action packed days of entertainment on the water, in the exhibitor halls and yes you guessed it, FUSION was out in force showcasing the latest in a series of new products set to redefine marine entertainment yet again.
A raft of international boating brands, products and technologies alongside the superb backdrop of the award-winning Sanctuary Cove Marina and The Marine Village were on display. With over 300 exhibitors, 120 vessels on the water and a wide variety of entertainments including a JETLEV action Jetpack display and a display by the Police Tactical Response Boat; comfortable shoes and camera with a full battery was definitely a prerequisite.
Located in the Heart of the Electronics Hall, FUSION Electronics was clearly the place to be, with the unveiling of the All-NEW FUSION UNI-Dock which can protect, charge and play the widest range of smart phones the marine industry has ever seen. Two new Bluetooth modules, designed for the marine environment and an impressive display of the FUSION-Link partner portfolio, it was hard to fend off the masses whom travelled from around Australia and around the world to witness the best in the business “FUSION”.
FUSION’s CEO Chris Baird was in attendance “Every year we’re showcasing new technologies and every year we impress; this year especially now that FUSION-Link is in full force across the Raymarine, Furuno and Garmin product range”
At every boat show around the world, it’s hard to get away from FUSION; whether it’s on display by FUSION, installed on the majority of the boats at the show or up in lights at the FUSION-Link partner booths, FUSION has revolutionized the industry and has no plans to slow down.
In addition to the FUSION UNI-Dock, Bluetooth modules and FUSION-Link Multi-Function displays there were other product launches to enjoy, both local and international. Among them was the Horizon Motor Yachts P110 Tri-Deck — previously tested by Trade-A-Boat and the largest vessel on display; Maritimo’s M50 Cruising Motor Yacht; Sea Ray’s 540 Sundancer; the 780D Dutch Sloop; the Hampton 700 Skylounge, Alaska Motor Yachts Endurance 720, and many, many more.
