The 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the most anticipated events in the global marine calendar. Spanning over six locations and three million square feet, the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is the largest yacht show in the world.
Featuring a huge selection of luxury yachts of all types and includes a fantastic display from the global charter fleet; Ft Lauderdale is one of the most historic yachting destinations in the world.
In addition to a number of stunning luxury charter yachts at this year’s show was the world’s leading marine entertainment innovator FUSION Electronics, showcasing the industry standard entertainment protocol “FUSION-Link” adopted by all leading marine electronics manufacturers.
Show highlights included the 68m/223’ SYCARA V, the 46m Admiral motor yacht OHANA and the 57m/187’ charter yacht MONTIGNE.
Show exhibits ranged from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts. A wide variety of boats and sea vessels were on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes, and extraordinary superyachts.
FUSION General manager Todd Crocker was in attendance at the event and was overwhelmed by the level of support from members of the public and the international boat builder community “To have people actively make a point of coming to our stand to tell us how much they love our product really justifies the effort we have spent developing these products” says Todd.
Ft Lauderdale is one of the best boat shows in the world, if you’re serious about boating you need to visit Ft Lauderdale. If you missed FUSION at this year’s event look out for us at the RVIA Trade show in Kentucky on the 3rd of December.
