Fusion-Link™ - Protocol for on-water audio integration and control

Fusion-Link is a widely adopted protocol for on-water audio integration and control, trusted by the industry’s most prestigious boatbuilders and supported by the world’s leading marine electronics manufacturers.

Fusion-Link makes control of your on-water entertainment easier than ever. It enables partnered multifunction displays (MFD) from manufacturers such as Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, Lowrance, B&G and Humminbird to control the entertainment right from your fingertips. Quickly find your favorite song, tune into the sports or turn up the volume all from your partnered multifunction display – making it simple and convenient to control your onboard audio entertainment.

Fusion-Link wireless allows you to control your entertainment from your compatible Apple® or Android™ device. Simply download the free Fusion-Link app from the App Store® or Google Play. You can also control the entertainment right from your wrist on Garmin watches enabled with ANT® technology by downloading the free Fusion-Link Lite app from the Connect IQ™ app.

Current Fusion-Link enabled stereos include the Apollo™ Series, 755 Series, 650 Series, MS-RA210, RA70 Series and MS-BB100.

Fusion-Link Wired

Fusion‑Link wired control is available over Ethernet and NMEA 2000® marine standard networks for compatible multifunction displays (MFD).

Ethernet

An Ethernet network commonly involves having a network router and/or an Ethernet switch (each sold separately). The network router will act as an access point for all multifunction displays, stereos and remotes on board to connect to – allowing them to communicate with each other and enabling data transfer.

NMEA 2000 is the marine standard for data communication between marine electronics. Typically, there is an NMEA 2000 ‘backbone’ consisting of multiple drop cables and connectors connecting multiple electronics and instruments together (multifunction displays, sensors, sonar, GPS and more) sharing and communicating data with each other on the NMEA 2000 network.
