Known as the ‘City of Sails’, Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand. Energetic, diverse and full of variety, there is a plethora of world-class food and wine to be experienced.
Start off your trip in the City of Sails by sailing on the water! A whale and dolphin safari upon the beautiful Auckland harbor is sure to kick start your trip on the right foot.
Once disembarked from your adventure, visit the Maritime Museum that is close by and wander the Viaduct Harbor - the home of the America's Cup - and Wynyard Quarter for all things food, sightseeing and boat watching.
A trip to New Zealand is not complete without a day visit to Waiheke Island, a 40 minute ferry ride from Downtown Auckland. Waiheke is home to 32 wineries and vineyards which produce world-famous, award-winning wines.

Finish the day off at one of the top vineyards, Mudbrick, to enjoy a sumptuous dinner overlooking the beautiful island.
For a bit of culture and history, visit the majestic Auckland War Memorial Museum, then take a walk around the grounds of the Auckland Domain (Auckland’s oldest park) and the Wintergardens. If you appreciate some fine art, pop by the Auckland Art Gallery to see the latest exhibition.
In the evening, head to Mission Bay beach – get a photo by the fountain, enjoy the sunset over the water and catch something to eat at one of the many dining destinations along the waterfront.
Today take the hire car and drive to the town of Matamata (2 hours) for a Hobbiton movie set tour! See where parts of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies were made and don’t forget to get a drink at the Green Dragon Inn for an ale.
After the tour, make your way to Rotorua (50 minutes). Surrounded by volcanoes, Rotorua is renowned for its geothermal activity, hot springs, mud pools, shooting geysers and showcasing our wonderful Maori culture.
A trip to Rotorua is not complete without a day at the hot springs. Head to the Polynesian Spa for all things indulgence and relaxation.
That evening, enjoy an authentic Maori Cultural Experience and traditional Maori dinner at the Tamaki Maori Village.
In the morning, head to Ngongotaha River for some of the best trout fishing in the world!
What’s for dinner you may ask? You’re spoilt for choice, but we recommend Mokoia Restaurant for an exquisite dining experience.
Queenstown is a popular filming destination for blockbuster movies – and for good reason – Queenstown has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! Live in the lap of luxury in New Zealand’s premier tourist destination.

An iconic destination in Queenstown is the Onsen hot pools. Enjoy relaxation at its finest while taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains. Want more views? Take a Gondola ride up to the Stratosfare Restaurant for dinner to dine in top of the world.
Finish your New Zealand trip on a high and take the Milford Sound day tour and cruise. Spectacular scenery and wildlife watching awaits as you cruise the pristine landscape.
