Sunny skies, sunbathing temperatures and festive vibes are all hallmarks of the end of Spring on the Gold Coast, and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) was the perfect destination to prepare for the change in season. With over 42,000 boating and leisure enthusiasts in attendance over the four-day expo and $30 Million in sales, SCIBS was highly successful for all of those involved with the event.

The four-day show was filled with live music, cooking demonstrations from Queensland’s surfing pranksters Paul and Blair from televisions ‘My Kitchen Rules’, industry seminars and of course the latest and greatest from all facets of the marine industry. Over 300 exhibiters were on display, showcasing a variety of local and international boating brands, products and marine electronics. FUSION was is attendance with their industry leading marine entertainment solutions on a brand new display, engineered to highlight FUSION-Link™ connectivity and FUSION’s Saloon entertainment solutions.

Showcasing FUSION-Link™ partners Raymarine, Simrad, Lowrance, Garmin, Furuno and introducing our newest partner Humminbird; showgoers were impressed to see all major electronics manufacturers supporting FUSION-Link, and with a on stand demonstration of the functionality, customers can decide what interface they prefer before purchasing their next Multi-Function Display.

The FUSION Lounge was a real hit with the masses “Setting up a saloon lounge experience for visitors to sit down, rest their feet and enjoy the unbeatable sound performance of the Saloon Series really gives our customers a taste of what they can achieve on their own boat” – Chris Soeters GM FUSION Australia.

Step off the stand and the FUSION soundtrack continues throughout the entire event with FUSION product on many of the boats on display as well our FUSION-Link partner booths. It’s clear FUSION is the marine entertainment standard here at the show.

The marine village was full of excited boaties, industry members, families and children, as they all soaked in the sun, enjoyed the cafés and all the new boats, toys and entertainers on display.  Sanctuary Cove on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast proved once again to be the perfect backdrop for the 2014 International Boat Show.
