Why has my Android smartphone become unresponsive?
FUSION recommends that music folders on your Android smartphone contain no more than 300 files each. Exceeding this limitation may cause the phone to become unresponsive and the FUSION Stereo to reset the USB link to the phone.

Why does my Samsung or HTC phone not display all song information for M4A files?
Samsung and HTC One Android phones do not provide song Artist and Album information for M4A files. The FUSION stereo will list M4A files under the Artist and Album browse categories but the files will be named "Unknown" . When the stereo starts playing the file the correct Artist and Album information will be displayed.

Why does my MS-NRX200i Remote go blank when changing source to MTP?
The MS-NRX200i software has not been updated following a software update to the FUSION stereo. Update the MS-NRX200i software before using the FUSION Stereo or MS-NRX200i Remote.
Why can’t the FUSION stereo find my music files?
Music files must be located in a folder using one of the following names. The folder must be located in the root directory of your device.
Initial Song Title Loading From MTP Devices
Following connection to the USB connector, the FUSION stereo will download the full list of song names from the device to create a song title index. This process must be completed before music playback can begin. For devices with large music collections this may take several minutes. The song count will be displayed during this process.
Other sources can be selected while this process is underway. The file name download and indexing will continue as a background task.
Note: Some Android smartphones may experience difficulty initially establishing a MTP connection. If your smartphone does not establish a connection when plugged in to the FUSION stereo you may need to unplug it and reconnect to ensure proper connection.
What is MTP?
Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) is a standard developed for connecting media devices and smartphones over USB. It has been adopted on a number of platforms including Android. FUSION currently supports a range of smartphones utilising MTP (see table below).
Keep your smartphone up to date. To ensure your smartphone has the best available support for MTP. FUSION recommends Android V4.3 or above.
