With record sales and visitor numbers, it is safe to say the 30th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show was a success! One of Sanctuary Cove’s biggest shows yet, a record 45,866 visitors were drawn in to the Marine Village to experience all that the International Boat Show had on offer over the four day event.
With almost 200 boats on the water, 275 boats on display and more than 300 exhibitors, the show catered for everyone, whether searching for their first trailer boat, upgrading the electronics and accessories, or looking to customize a brand-new motor yacht. The new Sports, Leisure and Fishing precinct, described as a “show within a show” was a real hit for visitors, covering 10,000 square meters of exhibitor space dedicated entirely to trailer craft.
Along with the record visitor numbers, the overall positive vibe saw many exhibitors enjoying record sales among a very promising amount of consumer interest, with Fusion being no exception!
A number of manufacturers released new products at the show, including BRIG with their Eagle 10 (pictured above) for the Australian marketplace.
The BRIG came complete with a premium Fusion package that had crowds turning their heads from the other side of the show. Featuring the new Apollo 770, the Fusion DSP pumped the tunes to the 8 Signature Series speakers and 2 Signature Series subwoofers, all powered by 4 Signature Series amplifiers. It was a true demonstration of the quality and aesthetic that Fusion audio entertainment systems add to a boating experience.
Following the incredibly successful launches of the revolutionary Apollo Series in Europe, USA and New Zealand, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show saw the Australian launch of the new series, drawing in a lot of interest from the public. Featuring a giant Apollo RA770 stereo to catch everyone’s attention, customers could experience just how powerful the combination of Apollo and Signature Series is, with the sales team (as always) making the most of any chance to turn the volume up to full blast for anyone even slightly interested! The clarity of sound, even at full volume, impressed all who stood around to hear the ‘magic’ of the Apollo Series.
Apollo’s unique PartyBus functionality was put to the test with customers able to link stereos around the booth, as well as between an Apollo RA770 installed on the neighboring Garmin booth 15 meters away. It certainly turned heads when customers walked between booths and experienced perfectly synced audio between them!
“Coming off the back of a very successful global launch for Apollo, including an Innovation Award win at the Hutchwilco Boat Show, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show was a fantastic event for Fusion,” said Marcus Hamilton, Fusion’s Marketing Manager. “It was incredible to see all of our innovative design and engineering captured and impressively showcased in the newly designed Fusion trade show booth, which left the press and show-goes alike asking where to buy them!”
Sanctuary Cove’s 31st annual Boat Show is all set for May 23rd to 29th, 2019, and agreeing with the show’s organizers, we “can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
