Brunswick, one of the largest marine corporations – and one that represents key brands such as Mercury Marine, Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and NZ’s own Rayglass among many others – held its first inaugural Brunswick Virtual Boat Show on July 21-22.
With international travel on hold this year, Brunswick took the inspired step to host an online boat show, with thousands of industry pros and consumers checking out more than 30 brands exhibiting.
Fusion was in the 'Parts & Accessories' hall alongside great brands like CZone and Mastervolt. From the digital floor, our visitors were able to chat with our Fusion representatives live, as well as watch videos on our latest releases, download press packs and learn about what we're doing on the water.
What made the show so exciting for us was the great virtual discussions we had with Fusion customers, including those who wanted help upgrading their existing systems. We were kept plenty busy showcasing the new Apollo WB670 hideaway stereo and ERX400 wired remote, with particular emphasis on the importance of connectivity and full integration. We'll continue to focus on Fusion product integration into a full marine system as part of a seamless user experience on the water.

This virtual boat show embodied the innovative spirit with a 3D digital exhibition hall that attendees could move around as if they were there in person. We see this as the way of the future – potentially in addition to the in-person shows we've come to know and love. There's a huge amount of opportunity in the virtual and augmented realms, and we're excited to see how technology is going to take us there.
