New Audio App Added For Raymarine Axiom MFDs

Back to Pulse

Raymarine recently released a new version of their LightHouse 3 Software (V3.9.46) for their Axiom MFD Range (including Axiom Pro and Axiom XL) – adding Multi-ZoneTM volume control for networked Fusion marine stereo head units. Users previously could only control the audio zone displayed on the audio app’s “Now Playing” screen, but now with this update users can control all zones on board their vessel.

This new update can be downloaded from the Software Updates page on the Raymarine website.

The update essentially adds two new icons to the audio app’s screen – a “Volume” button which switches between Single Zone or Multi-Zone Volume Control when tapped, and a “Bar” icon which displays the number of audio zones selected and the volume level in each zone.

Users will be able to select audio zones they want to adjust in the audio app Settings menu, with zones across multiple stereo head units can be selected.

The audio app also has a “network view” on the left on-screen panel which displays all available zones on the network (maximum of 12 zones) along with the audio source playing in each zone.
